We’re so excited to finally announce that Ebates Canada is changing its name to Rakuten (RACK-uh-ten). Say that 10 times fast!

Fret not fearless shoppers, your Cash Back and how you earn it remains the same! In fact, joining forces with one of the largest global companies in the world (1.2 billion international members) is going to enable us to do even more for our members.

Fun fact: Rakuten means ‘optimism’ in Japanese. And that’s how we feel about this new and exciting change for you and us!

A Little Change

You might have noticed we’ve changed… a little. The biggest changes are in our new name, our logo and our colours – everything else is business as usual. So where will you see these changes? Primarily on our website, our social media channels and on your Big Fat Cheque and PayPal statements.

Rest assured nothing else will change for you. Unless it’s to bring you new places to earn Cash Back. Your entire experience will be just as it’s always been – your account will stay the same; our services will stay the same; and even our team will stay the same.

There are still more than 750 stores to shop from, and more being added regularly. Rakuten (that’s us) will continue to partner with great stores to get you the best deals with the most Cash Back. YAY!
