Since this spring looks very different due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we understand that the priority is to shop for the essentials. We’re looking ahead to brighter days, and sharing some of our favourite spring fashion trends, plus tips to help you save while shopping for them!

With our passion for spring fashion, the promise of warmer weather has us excited to ditch the layers for lighter fabrics and fun colours. Here’s the running list of some 2020 spring trends we’re digging:

Tie Dye

This eye-catching print has gotten a bit of a makeover with a wider palette of colour options, like more subdued pastels and new dyeing techniques. Find it in Spring and Summer staples from basics like tees, long sleeves, sweaters and jogger sets to items like bathing suits, backpacks and sneakers. Our prediction: this trending fashion pattern will be around for a while! Urban Outfitters has a great selection of drool-worthy tie dye styles.   

Cute Hues

Be on the lookout for pistachio green, peachy pink, butter yellow, and tangerine orange. These colours are a great way to freshen up your wardrobe for the seasons ahead and will pair nicely with the neutral colours and closet staples you already own (like your favourite pair of jeans)! Stores often release monthly collections with new colourways, so be on the lookout for new arrivals from stores like Club Monaco.

If you are willing take the plunge with a bold colour choice, neon colours seem to be here to stay! An athleisure item or fun accessory is an awesome way to embrace a bright colourway.

Fantastic Fabrics

Now, that we’ve warmed up to some new colours, let’s switch gears and talk touch and feel. Spring fashion shows showed a wide variety of fabrics from doily laces and glossy satins to suede and crochet. Accessories have gotten similar updates that are both cute and affordable, so don’t feel restricted to only refabricated clothing! When it comes to adding any spring trends into your wardrobe, find pieces that will complement what’s already in your closet.

From mini dresses to Bermuda shorts, I’m about all leather everything! Even better? This season, the fabric takes on a fresh spin in playful brights that’ll put a spring 😉 in anyone’s step.
